1 GOD'S people, you are answerable to GOD Amos 3:2 - 'You only have I known of all the families of the earth, therefore I will punish you for your iniquities' -This punishment/chastisement is out of love (the true love of GOD) -See also Hebrews 12
2 Gods people have to remember that nothing happens by chance -Amos 3:3-6

4 The heathen see our witness -Amos 3:9-10
5 Dwindling numbers are a witness of chastisement -Amos 3:12 -See also Deuteronomy 28
