The blessed truth! Thank you Pastor for this message. Not often people preach on a message from Revelation without looking at the excitement of what might come.
A very neglected part of this chapter is indeed this message of prayer. A very timely reminder to me - as indeed we need such reminders frequently in our innate ability to fail. Yes, from time to time from pastors these message must be heard (shepherds directing us aright). Despondency sinks in at the state of the world, and with despondancy comes a weakening of prayer. It is a good reminder that our Lord is indeed the conqueror and who has won the war, and that we are part of the war that has been waged through time.
We must not relent or give up, in fact we must redouble our efforts in the face of this message.
