God found and took David... from following the sheep and made him a shepherd who would lovingly lead His flock.
It's true... good followers position themselves, daily, to be great leaders.
The difference between David and Saul was a fresh and daily work of grace that God was doing in David's life.
I ask a series of questions in this message to find out if we're a DAILY follower/believer or an OCCASIONAL believer/follower.
A little something to think about...
Are you, am I, are we, guilty of being occasional? If you would, look over the following statements and ask yourself if they are a consistent pattern in your daily life or more occasional things that may happen in your week, month, or year. You may not word it the same, and that's ok, but focus more on the principle in each statement than how it is exactly worded.
You don't have to report to me, by any means... but it is something we ALL ought to think about. The Scriptures teach us to ponder the path of our feet and to guard our hearts, while seeking Him first, in all THINGS and above all THINGS.
So how about it... DAILY or OCCASIONALLY:
