As we think about what Solomon would have us to learn in these verses we find him giving us a warning in verse 4 against making excuses for not spreading the truth of the word of God, and not doing good works while we have the time to do so now. He says there – If we observe the wind, we will focus on all the things which will prevent our doing good works now. And we will neither sow or reap if we do that. Then, we are told here in verses 5 and 6, that there are three things which we do not know or understand too well. 1st - We do not understand the way of the wind. 2nd – We do not know how God makes bones to form in a mother's womb. And 3rd – We do not understand how God brings spiritual prosperity. Well, even though it is true that we do not understand these things, still, I want you to see, that they ought to be an incentive to us, to continue on faithfully, in doing our good works and sharing the truth of the Bible, even so. May the Lord give us help by means of this message to be constant in faithfulness, and persevere in doing His work in our generation.
