Great Sermon! While looking for a sermon on "THE DOCTRINE OF SCRIPTURE" I came across this particular sermon. Prior to landing here, I was dumbfounded when I observed how many sermons there were on the said topic, by so many familiar and well-known pastors, who have abandoned THE DOCTRINE OF BIBLICAL PRESERVATION and hold to THE ORIGINALS ONLY being inspired doctrine position. How can they preach on something which they don’t fully or accurately believe? To my way of thinking that opens the door to all of the rest of the declension within the Church. Faith must certainly begin with believing that GOD HAS SPOKEN, and faith must necessarily include the fact that HE IS STILL SPEAKING (by His Preserved and infallible Word). Are the so called Scholars still trying to assemble God's supposedly uncertain and unpreserved Word or do we NOW have God's preserved and infallible Word? I am grateful for your sermon(s) for this primary reason, it is an avowal of the fact that THE BIBLE VERSION ISSUE IS A DOCTRINAL ISSUE... For quite some time I have understood that to accept something as true is to hold that which is contradictory to it as being false. That is why those who hold to this NEW VIEW are generally very argumentative against the KJV – but not so much the other modern versions.
