What Happens When You Die? The next time you attend a funeral, you will need to know
Before we begin, our pastor has some very important and serious things to say about what happened after the previous lecture. That was right after we found out that one of our dearest members had been fatally shot and killed. That was eleven years ago and back then we had only put that lecture on Podbean which feeds into iTunes. It got posted around noon on Monday and after only half a day it already had 947 people listen to it. The reason our pastor mentions this, is because he wants to address a few things that everybody needs to know when they are going to a funeral like this. And he goes on to help us to know how to answer the questions people have when someone dies. The machine dies but the mind, the spirit/soul goes on. So, what really happens when someone dies? Well, first you need to know that our spirit/soul is immortal. It will never cease to exist throughout all eternity. But what's really at stake here is, where does that soul spend its existence? Or, to make this a little closer to home... What is your destination?
