According to Mark 13 and Matthew 24 Christ will come after the great tribulation to gather the elect and establish His Kingdom on this earth. And Paul describes the same event in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.

Great Sermon! My question to those who say that Jesus returns for his church post trib raises so many problems. What about the judgement seat of Christ? What about His 1000 year rein? What about the marriage supper of the Lamb? What about God pouring out 7 years of wrath on his own Body? What about the fact that Paul never once warned us to NOT take the mark of the beast - why did the new testaments most prolific writer never mention it once? It is never mentioned until Revelation 14. Pre and post trib rapture has become a major doctrinal issue and a stone of stumbling for believers in these last days. I for one cannot accept that God will put his church through it, and not because I cannot bear the thought of the persecution and slaughter of those days, or that I somehow deserve to escape it. Post trib simply does not line up with scripture, and those who keep pointing to Matthew 24 are confusing a teaching meant for Jews and Jews alone, not Christians.

Great Sermon! Cezar is clearly believing the lie that the Dispensationalists are teaching in our day. This teaching is very 'popular' in our day, but should be rejected. They interpret Revelation 3:10 to say that God will take the Church out of this earth before the Tribulation, yet refuse to face the fact that Jesus prayed to the Father that the Church be NOT taken out of the world in John 17.

Great Sermon! Thank you for preaching on that curious verse about the saints being resurrected when Jesus was crucified. I had learned that, in the OT, prophecy came true in the prophet's own time as well as in the future times (not that Jesus was merely a prophet--he is the Son of God). Your explanation fits with that way I have learned to study prophecy--not that it's 100% correct, it's just a hook to hang some understanding on. I just have rarely heard anyone speak about this verse! There's no other account in the Bible about it, so maybe we can't say too much more about what we can know about it. However, I am curious as to the idea that it (the resurrection of those particular saints)happened BEFORE Christ was resurrected, while he was still in the grave. Any comments?

RE: Cezar from Midwest Please take the time to show me in particular how what I preached was incorrect from the Word of God. Please refer me to Bible verses. Certainly our authority is found in the Word of God not a particular preacher's interpretation of a passage.

Reply to Cezar Notice how you corrected the speakers, not with Scripture, but with a declarative statement of your own authorities.

Pretrib The Tribulation is God pouring out His wrath on the earth. Also, the Tribulation is the time of Jacob's trouble, not the church.
Christians will be taken out of the way then the Tribulation will happen.
