Sin can disrupt righteous efforts but always and only as God allows who ultimately is in control of that outcome. The choice of righteous wisdom will always be pleasing to God and not compound the disruption and effects of the folly and evil that is an ongoing pressure. The fool will be self-destructive in the long run of their life under the sun. The wise will have the will and control of God to bring them through the trials and to the hope-filled life God has promised.
