Still a Great Message For years this message has been commented on and it still needs to be heard now. Bold truth that cuts, as it should. Thank you, Pastor. Please preach it again for the world of 2023.

Great Sermon! When hearing this, I see my own christian carnality. I have been raised in an American church culture, I have seen and experienced all that Paul Washer has identified in this sermon. For almost 30 years I have proclaimed myself as a Christian but in reality, looking over the fruit in my life, I can say with assurance I am not. I now understand there has been no evidence that I have been converted. I have sincerely agreed to the sinners prayer repeatedly. No lasting change in me, my life, my family. I go to church, just to go, but it feels like an empty box.

Quoting: "Sunday school. No matter what denomination you are a part of, if you are a part of some denomination that is kind of organized, I can assure you that your denomination spends multi millions of dollars on Sunday school material, multi millions of dollars on conferences, on teaching teachers how to teach Sunday school, on doing everything in the book to promote Sunday school... Let me ask you: How much money does your denomination spend and how many conference and man hours are put in to teach fathers to teach their children? Now I am not saying that children can’t come together in groups and be catechized or be taught or anything, but if that ever even begins to hint to supplant the ministry of the Father in the home, blow it to pieces...Everything for Sunday school, everything for Sunday school. But there is hardly a conference in this entire country to teach men how to teach their children. And most of the time in the Sunday school it is nothing more than entertainment...Let’s look at youth groups... Proverbs 13:20. “He who walks with wise men will be wise, But the companion of fools will suffer harm.” Who ever told you youth ought to be together? Who ever told you that? I’ll tell you who told you that. 1960's psychologists. Generation gap."

Isaiah 8:19-20, basically Wow! If you played this sermon outside all of the car alarms in the area would go off. This is some serious, passionate preaching. A major subject is that we must go to the Bible for everything, not to the social sciences, the philosophers, or most of the books that fill up Christian bookstores these days. I appreciate this sermon so much. When I was a new Christian I went to a charismatic church where they use the ideas of Psychology to interpret and teach the Bible! And when I questioned this, they said, 'We are a church that moves in the Spirit and we do things that many people are not going to like.' Thank God that people like Paul Washer are warning and preaching against heresies.

Great Sermon! Everyone who considers themselves Christian must be challenged by these indictments. I fear that most goats who preach will not.

Great Sermon! Thank you brother Paul! I have been one of those starving Christian' in a seeker sensitive church and was made to feel guilty for feeling that way! Your preaching has awaken the holy spirit within me! I pray that god continues to use you in the mighty way he has been doing! We need more preachers that are not interested in looking cool! But telling truth inspired by the holy spirit!

Great Sermon! You talk about the 4 spiritual laws and I have heard other times you have discussed this topic and you have said instead of asking those questions you should ask these. I want to know if you have a gospel tract with those four questions and scripture references available?

Epic In Quality A superb message! Powerful! Real! Doctrinal! Sincere! Convicting!
The doctrinal substance that can be learnt from just listening to this one sermon twice is astonishing. Truly a historic sermon. Praise God!

Great Sermon! I can't recommend this sermon enough, almost all the issues we are dealing with today, brother Paul deals with. You want to be at a biblical church? Check if the church follows what is talked about from Scripture. Praise God for this message!

Great Sermon! Love the part about the secret revival taking place right now. So true, Brothers and Sisters all over the country are soaking up what Pastor Washer is preaching among many other reformed Church members.
Pastor Washer is so humble, but truly I owe a lot to his teachings. So much so I cannot remember what my faith looked like before I started hearing them.
"But seek ye first the kingdom of God,and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you."
Glory be His in all things.
God bless you all

Great Sermon! This message is a must listen for all who profess the name of Jesus Christ. Praise God for raising up a man to boldly profess His truth; a message that is much needed in the church today. May God be honored and glorified, He is worthy.

Great Sermon! Almost every church growth book I ever read left out one important part of a healthy church; the Work, Power, and Conviction of the Holy Spirit. Churches today comes equipped with theatres, coffee shops, bowling allies, basketball courts, billard tables and weight rooms. If I'm not mistaken all these things are destroyed by dust and rust... you must do it to keep the unregenerate in church!!

Hardly needs a comment, but... This sermon speaks for itself, so it hardly needs my comment, but ... I will say that these 10 indictments are extremely accurate and important, and all ten are focused on why the modern Church is so ineffective, and I have to say most of them read like a list of why I was ready to walk away from Christianity and go to another religion many years ago before I came to know the true Reformed faith.
So my encouragement is that if anyone is dissatisfied with Christianity, to listen to this, and see if your concerns aren't mirrored in this list of indictments. If you think the Christian faith is shallow, powerless, and has no answers, you may have simply not found the true Christianity yet, but the modern, hollow shell that passes itself off as Christian.

Ouch! This sermon is incredible, but it's sure to hit you in some facet of your preaching/ministry that you've been doing in an unbiblical manner!
Must hear for all Christians and non!

Great Sermon! And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, so that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. (1Co 2:4-5)
God is raising up a generation in our day that will be just like this, and oh how we need it! Bless the Lord for this wonderful awakening message. It is my prayer this would go beyond just saying, "Great sermon", but truly change our lives.

A 21st Century Ten Shekels and a Shirt This message I believe covers some of the most important issues facing the true Church of Jesus Christ in the 21st Century! This message is staggering, shocking, and sobering. There was a stunned silence for 20 minutes after the message was delivered. May God truly see fit to raise up a generation that will go back to the Old Paths of preaching true conversion, preaching against sin, and preaching on the Character of God.

Great Sermon! Awesome sermon but still mostly just review. If you've heard Bro. Paul before a lot of it you will recognize. We must pass this around so that people will understand where the foundation needs to be. Powerful!

The Lamb is worthy! Praise the Lord for the truth of the word of God and the testimony of our Lord Jesus Christ. I pray this is a wake up call to the American church. We need to tell these fals teachers to repent. If they do not they need to be exposed and we need to separate ourselves from their doctrines of demons and men. Yes many will be persectued but that comes with the territory of being a follower of Jesus Chrsit. Who who live godly will suffer persecution.
I pray this will be a start of a revival in the churches in America. Get the truth out to as many as possible and remember to do it in gentleness and love but never the less the truth needs to be made known.
In Christ,
Frank
