A husband's and wife's covenant needs, are created by God, they are lasting and legitimate needs, for which they have no morale outlet outside of marriage. The covenant of marriage, as both conceived and defined by God, is made with God on the basis of legitimate needs of both the husband and wife to which both the husband and wife are held equally accountable. The Marriage Covenant was and is established by God. It is neither a social institution nor a church rite to protect the sanctity of marriage, rather it is a covenant created by God and made with God. It is made on the basis of legitimate needs which both the husband and wife possess and which are created by God. By joining in the marriage covenant you step forward and vow to God to be the one to minister to and meet those needs held by your spouse which were created by God. They are not as a result of sin and will not diminish with spiritual and emotional maturity. God has created this covenant and our understanding of the covenant and the reasonability's to which God holds us in entering into this covenant can only be known through a careful study of His holy, eternal, inerrant, written Word.
