Hardly anything is more common among religious people in the United States than a false sense of security. This is true of more or less social conservatives, many of whom are sympathetic and approving of evangelical religion, as well as presumptuous liberals. This lesson was done in a Bible fellowship hour (Sunday school) and so some of the readers' voices can't be heard in a few short spaces. I am a social conservative. I vote conservative.
