INTRO: You will wonder what the Scripture that was read, Acts 17:13-29, has to do with our subject. We will get to that by and by. You see, our subject matter is, "How to take a wife in purity." In the last message, I went overtime. I will seek to do better today. But in the last message we considered the basic problem of our subject and that is the purity factor. In Genesis 1 it says God blessed man and told him to be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth. When it says God blessed them, it means He endued them with the potential to fulfill that command. So powerfully did He endue man with the desire to fulfill that command that it seems almost a curse at times. That is because the devil got in there and messed this thing up worse than absolutely anything else that God made. And now, we have this purity problem.
