“ Very Interesting Sermon! ” I am presently struggling with hatred & anger & came upon this particular sermon by the grace of our Lord God.
When immediate family cause feelings of anger & hatred, it's time to take a closer look at what we as believers are supposed to do in order to deal with it.
As the pastor says in his sermon, we are inclined to meet hatred with hatred. And we do as fleshly beings. But, our spirit should overcome our flesh. Thank God, He lights that fire under His children in order for them to WAKE UP!
My issue is that I hate evil & wrong doing, but I can't seem to draw the line at the act; too often it bleeds over to my feelings for the individual. That has to stop.
The pastor makes some very good points & I noticed that at the time this sermon was done, there was one preceding it & one following it. I will continue to listen to the 3rd one.
One thing that was brought up in this sermon was the reference to Jeremiah 13, which made me go back & read it. We must understand what LOVE OUR ENEMIES truly means.
