The religious leaders were not looking toward Jesus to gain more revelation about Him; instead, they were looking to test Him. God is the Creator of the whole Universe. His work is evident all throughout the world and space. God created people, and in creating people, He created males and females. The fact that people have problems does not make the difficulties normal. If we are struggling in the area of same-sex attraction, we need to call out to God. All of us have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. God’s standard is perfection and what the law does is show everyone that we fall short. We don’t need to throw away the standard. We need a Savior! The law makes us aware of our problems and our need for the Savior, and our only hope is Jesus.
