• Knowing a secret not enough, we must learn it, experience it & become experienced in it
• There is a major difference between fervency and diligence, diligence = fervency + frequency (Hebrews 11:6 / Romans 12:11 – both)
When God’s Spirit is in you, and He is when you have been born again, you now have an ultimate partner helping you win the tug of war to get that treasure of God living His life through you. But if you are on the other side pulling the opposite way, guess what happens, you lose out until you begin to win by starting to pull with your heavenly partner again. The Holy Spirit is One who comes alongside to help, Jesus describes Him as your helper.
It takes two to carry the treasure chest; if you only have one then it drags along and can drag you down. The burden is easy to carry when one is on each side working together as a treasure team. God will pour His life into and through you and if you will treasure Him He will abundantly share His treasure with you. You are always in the process; you are either in the process of grieving the Spirit or in the process of being filled with the Spirit.
Remember, Jesus said that where your treasure is, that is where your heart will be. Where is your heart, what is it that you treasure, will you remember that when something else tries to pull you away? What are you trying to lay hold of, what are you continuing to hold onto that stops God from moving in your life? Jesus is the ultimate treasure, let’s learn and live that. Whose pleasure do you treasure? That will tell you who your master is in that moment, who you are serving.
