Paul has Gospel centered resolutions to suffer for the advance of Christ's kingdom, and God blesses him with Gospel centered hospitality along the way with fellow believers. Paul was enabled to press on because he knew God will vindicate and his reward was in heaven. Paul needed this intimate fellowship with other believers to be encouraged and strengthened in the faith.
