The welfare state has stripped the character of the inner-city family and corrupted millions of people. On this segment of Generations, Kevin Swanson challenges families to come to faith in Christ and repent of their welfare and food stamps. He encourages an abandonment of social security and Obamacare where there are opportunities to do so. Christians should maintain a different socio-economic system from socialists.

Great Sermon! I've just watched the old show GOOD TIMES about an inner city family. The father is in the home, and had too much pride to take from the government. There was one on today with many women in it, but one of the ladies who was pregnant didn't want to take the welfare although she was newly widowed and needed it (she was tempted to put her child up for adoption) Since it was set in the 1970s, i believe it was the 1980s when things started getting out of hand, with the SONY WALKMAN which started the ROTTEN HIP HOP CULTURE..
LBJs stuff didn't get bad since many of the older people were still alive, and who were either soft christians, or at least moral who could talk their kids out of welfare, especially for boys. Now many boys don't even KNOW who their GRANDFATHER IS much less their FATHER. I also believe many people today born in
Christian homes, with two parents, are still affected by this. Many born in the 1980s have never seen normal IMO

Wow Preach the Word. Those people need the Gospel. The things of God are foolishness to them that are parishing. They don't care about the Ten Commandments their lost, like I was. Please stop pushing people away, but draw them in. As Christians we need to believe what the bible says about people apart from Christ. The church needs revival. Not those so call Welfare Mobs. This is damages the name of Christ. Repent brother please. I use to be racist against whites until God saved me.
