There is only one thing God cannot forgive--denying who He is. Jesus put it this way, "He who is not with Me is against Me." In this session we see the multitudes as well as the religious leadership saying what Jesus was doing could not be of God but was of Beelzebub, the Lord of the House, which is just another name for Satan. To Jesus this showed something wrong in the heart, and what is going on in your heart is His only concern. The people of that time, and this one as well, thought the focus of a relationship with God was based on what you either did or did not do. Jesus said, no. Any sin, even blasphemy can be forgiven. What is unforgivable is rejection of the God's Spirit and of His messenger, the Messiah Jesus.
