Jesus transforms troubled disciples for ministry (19-23) He assures them of His resurrection (19-20) Passed through locked doors (19) Greeted them with “Peace” (19, 21) Identified Himself with His wounds (20) Created joy (20) He commissions them (21) As the Father has sent me Even so I am sending you He endues them with the Holy Spirit (22) Breathed on them (22a) Commanded them to “Receive the Holy Spirit (22b) He promises their effective proclamation (23) Those who believe as a result of our proclamation will be forgiven (23a) Those who do not believe will not be forgiven (23b)
