I urge us all to examine ourselves. Let’s ask ourselves a few questions.
1. Are you relying upon the work of Christ on the cross to save you — or are you living in your own strength? 2. Does your life reflect the redemption that Christ died to secure? 3. Do you struggle against sin, or are you at ease with your sinfulness. 4. Do you have a personal relationship with Christ?
The child of God is one who has a personal relationship with Christ. If you have yet to come to Christ, go to Him this day and ask for His forgiveness. Commit your way to the Lord. Salvation is the first prerequisite in God's plan for marriage.
