Seeking The Spirit-Filled Life God Offers (FTF-09)
For some odd reason there are quite a number of TV shows about gold prospecting. The people that take part in that job deal with harsh environments, wild wilderness, and back breaking work. They spend thousands of dollars on equipment, fuel, and sloosh boxes (the best word to say ever). After moving literal mountains they turn off their equipment and are ecstatic when they find pieces of gold as big as 3 millimeters. And the people on those crew jump for joy at such a find. They knew the path to take and the resources they would need. They knew that finding something so small meant they were on the right track and the payout for their hard work would pay out.
We, as Christians, know the path to take and the resources we need. We know that seeking after a Holy Spirit filled life results in the ultimate payout. We are able to live a life that is pleasing and honoring to God and where we can join in His presence where the streets are paved in gold.
