What Berra helped to illustrate was the desire of us to try and compartmentalize God in our life. He's good to go to in church or times of crisis but we don't want him ruining our fun after work or during work when we have to muddy the waters of our ethics. God is good when we need to teach our children a lesson or to feel good about helping the less fortunate. But He may not be so wanted with wanting to remove some of the words from our mouths or when that person cuts you off in traffic.

Today, Joh n Samuel Barnett shows us that God grace makes available transforming relationships but He doesn't demand it. God offers His Spirit to fill every aspect of our life to empower us to transform our relationships - especially with our families.
