Agur contemplates four wonders of creation: the air, the ground, the sea, and human love. And His conclusion regarding these is vitally important. Science can study and explain the mechanics of each of these things – the balance of the wings, the effect of the wind, the ballast of the ship, the nervous system of the serpent, the affections of the couple. And yet, after the research is exhausted, we are left with this indisputable truth - there is still so much we cannot comprehend. And so as we consider the wonders of creation, the wonders of human love, we are driven further to the wonder of the Source of it all and can only say, My God, how great Thou art.
