Seeking Sabbath Blessings As Christians (HFG-09)
A wise, orange cat is famous for expressing his dislike for Mondays. I never understood why a lazy cat with no job didn't like Mondays but for those that work a "normal" work week, you can probably relate. We had a rest and now we have to wind up our gears and go, go go! We have to shake off our comfy clothes and rub the sleep from our eyes and inject some "vitamin C" into our blood and remember to do the report or move that load or fix that error that your co-worker just caused on Friday! Come on, let's get going! Hurry up! No time to waste! In this time, do we remember our lessons from the previous day's sermon? Did we take time to offer our Lord thanks for waking up to a new day? Did we remember that we have the privilege to spend time with the Creator of the universe in His Word? Did we set aside some "Sabbath time" to love God and offer our day and trust to Him?
