According to the Bible, foolish actions flow from a foolish heart. The foolish decision or response is not the root problem, it's merely a symptom. For the unregenerate fool, foolishness is so ingrained into the fabric of their DNA, that even if they were to be beaten and ground down to dust, this still would not separate them from their foolishness. Only God can cure us of the foolish hearts we all possess by nature. Wisdom comes as we grow to know Him, and love Him through a regenerate heart and a sanctifying walk with Him. Only God can separate us from our foolishness; may we look to Christ for His mercy and grace.
