Proverbs 13:20 He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.
Your crowd shows how you are doing spiritually. "Lie down with the dogs and you will get up with fleas." ~ P.S.R. Those you are drawn to tells who you are serving. An example of a wise man walking with the wise would be Hiram of Tyre who was filled with wisdom, and understanding, and cunning to work all works in brass. And he came to king Solomon, and wrought all his work. The wise can get much done when they work together. Proverbs 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise. According to this verse, if you are not busy trying to win souls to the Lord Jesus Christ you are not wise.
Lets take heed to this verse and be companions of those who love the one who is wiser than Solomon (Matt 12:42).
