During the time of the Judges, the Ammonites came to fight against Israel. The king of the Ammonites accused the people of Israel of capturing their land. Jephthah recited the history of Israel. He recounted how the children of Israel sought passage through Edom and Moab. These kings would not allow Israel passage. Jephthah then told how Sihon king of the Amorites came out to fight against Israel when Israel requested passage through their land. Israel defeated the Amorites. Israel took possession of the land of the Amorites from the Jabbok to the Jordan.

Israel won the land in battle. They had the right to dwell there.

In our lives, Satan will accuse us. When we are faced with these accusations, it is important to remember how God has moved in our lives in the past. Remember the places where God has given you victory before. Remember the power with which God worked in your life. Remember the territory which you have gained in standing against the wiles of the devil. Do not allow Satan to claim victory in a place which you have already subdued.
