The interesting thing to me today, is that God tells Israel He is testing them. The KJV says,

"for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul."

The Lord is testing their love. WOW God will allow a false prophet to come unto them. He will allow the false prophet to speak words which will lead Israel away from Him. God will try Israel to see if they love God with their whole heart.

What does God allow to come into our lives to prove or test us? What does He allow to come into our lives to see if we love Him with our whole heart? Have you been led away from God? Have you ever walked in God's testing grounds? I bet you have. How are you being led?

Jesus asked Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these?

If Jesus ask you the quesition, "Do you love me more than _____? How would you repsond?
