The Call of Isaiah, Lesson Outline, Part 3. Spirit-filled Temple He wants us to be close, but on His terms. We can't take over the relationship with our ideas. Peter: "Jesus, you are not going to die!" " I will not deny you! " High and lifted up! and His train bridal. train of His robes (NKJV) filled the Temple This is where Isaiah is.What is the clothing of God? Ps 93:1, majesty.strength. ps 104:1, honor. All this and more filled that temple. 90 ft long, 30 ft wide 45 ft high. Every place Isaiah looked all He could see was God's character His Presence. Overwhelming sight. This is supposed to be a picture of the church. Paul says church is temple. And we individually are temples. When we get to where we are supposed to be, you won't be able to look at us without seeing God. That's what it is supposed to mean to be filled with the Spirit. Don't keep isaiah in OT. Same God fills the Temple today . Train fills the Temple. Christ the head of the Church in Heaven Fills His Body with His Spirit on earth. 6:2 above it . I think this means above the Throne, for it seems this all takes place inside the Temple. seraphim "burning ones." "fiery". Of the Jews' 10 rankings of angels, Seraphim are number 5. With Christians they are in first place, some saying they are not angels per se, for angel means messenger, and these creations are praise warriors. Rev 4:6-8 the creations there also have 6 wings and a similar praise message. Many believe that John saw the same seraphim.2 wings cover face because of the glory of God that cannot be looked upon.2 wings covered feet representing dirt and therefore God cannot look on them.So they can't look at God and God can't look fully on them. Look how different it is with a child of God. Even Moses was allowed to look at some of His glory. II Corinthians 3:18. "But we see Jesus" Peter James & John at transfiguration. Rev 22:4, we shall see His face! Ps 34:15 The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous.
