This is an encouraging promise in a world that is immersed with ideas and icons that are all fighting to establish truth. Isn’t it a comfort to know that God preserves knowledge? Isn’t it a comfort to know that God in His mercy will bring error to light? May we praise God today as the one who establishes, reveals, preserves, and perpetuates truth in all generations…even in ours. May this truth be an encouragement to faithfulness as we apply ourselves to the work that is before us as Christians? We labor in a kingdom that cannot fail, for a God who cannot lose! While we may not presently see the fruit we desire in our day, the truth remains that The Lord is in the business of preserving knowledge and overthrowing the words of the transgressor. Thine, O Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all.(1Chron.29:11) If we would be wise, we must not forget the God, who not only preserves knowledge, but give that knowledge life in the hearts of His people.
