Knocking on the church closed door,

Calling unto God’s own people,

To be zealous evermore.

Repent! Renew your heart of faith,

For you are neither cold nor hot,

Buy of me! Gold fine and pure,

And I will make you walk in white.

You’re blind and naked,

Wretched and poor,

Sold out to the world,

Behind a locked closed door.

Open your heart and let me in,

Repent! And turn away your sin,

Be overcomers, and sit with me,

Come Sup with me, I’ll commune with thee.

Listen to the Spirit,

Hear my voice and live,

Throw open wide the door,

I stand ready to forgive.
