Greetings from Myanmar! We will be able to blog you while here in Myanmar! We arrived on Wednesday evening in the rain. We were picked up by Pastor Toe Toe's wife, Thiry and transported to our hotel. On Thursday, we prepared for the first day of the YEE clinic. There are 28 students taking the class. We are having the class in the local church here in Yangon. It was started by a missionary, Adoniram Judson back in 1819. The church is named U Naw Church after the first man who was converted to Christianity. Pastor Toe Toe is the senior pastor here. He has several Elders, and the congregation is similar in size as GCC, about 300 or so attenders. The church here is very active in missions, reaching out to their people. This is not the first YEE clinic held here, but we are the first team from the States to teach a clinic. The weather is HOT! We are grateful for the hotel where we are staying the week, which has AC and hot showers. Please view the photos attached to this blog for how our day went. We are on a dialup connection while here, so the images may not be as clear. Thank you again for your faithfulness to prayer for the team! The local saints (well over 100!) here are also praying for our clinic this week!
