Another factual error in The Da Vinci Code relates to the forbidden fruit in Eden.
Dan Brown claims several times that Eve ate the apple in Paradise, and "APPLE" is the final secret code (p.322).
This is a common mistake: no apple is mentioned in the Genesis story! The Bible simply speaks of "the tree of the knowledge of good and evil" (Genesis 2:17; 3:1-19).
