In the middle of ministering the Law and Gospel, an abortion nurse joined us with her own sign on the corner outside of the Lovejoy Surgicenter abortion clinic in Portland, Oregon. Her protest sign read, "BEAVERTON GRACE BIBLE CHURCH INTIMIDATES WOMEN." The hypocrisy isastounding.This nurse makes a living helping doctors murder and dismember baby girls (future women) everyday. Yet, she came out of the abortion clinic to protest our attempt to save the lives and limbs of precious babies (female & male) with a sign referencing intimidating women. I told her then, and I repeat again now, her sign does not intimidate us. It is not an indictment against us. It is a positive affirmation.
As I preached a GOSPEL/RESCUE message I also interacted with the protesting abortion nurse with grace and truth. The video closes with a conversation between me and the nurse that ends abruptly with her callous confession that "this has been tons of fun, but I have babies to kill now." That is the murderous reality of what is taking place in every abortion clinic across America. May the Lord raise up pastors and Christians to love unborn babies, their parents, abortion doctors, and abortion nurses with action and truth at every abortion clinic in America.
The genocide of the unborn continues because of our failure to embrace the command of Proverbs 31:8, "Open your mouth for the speechless, in the cause of all who are appointed to die." We are repenting of apathy, silence, and inaction. Join us in repentance. Join us in speaking on behalf of "the speechless" 55 million babies that have been aborted and the millions who will yet be murdered and dismembered in abortion mills like Portland's Lovejoy Surgicenter if we remain silent. Silent no more!
