The Massachusetts government heard testimony last week from a young Canadian woman, Dawn C. Stefanowicz, who had been raised from infancy by her homosexual father and his various β€˜partners’ in a β€˜gay’ household. She told the Massachusetts Judiciary Committee that her life submerged in the homosexual subculture had left her scarred psychologically and morally.

Stefanowicz made her statement during hearings, held April 11 by the Massachusetts government to consider establishing an amendment to the state constitution that would define marriage as being between one man and one woman.

Describing her father’s homosexual lifestyle as a culture without β€œboundaries and principles of morality and monogamy,” Stefanowicz said her upbringing was characterized by confusion and lack of affection, domestic violence and sexual abuse.

In her father’s world which he made hers, she said, β€œtranssexualism, and transient and anonymous multiple partners were common. By age ten, for example, I was exposed to a gay nude beach, a sex shop, and a gay cruising park.”

In April, 2005, Ms. Stefanowicz read a statement at a Marriage Rally on Parliament Hill in Ottawa, Canada. In that statement, Stefanowicz said because of the sexual molestation she endured at an early age, she was at a high risk for sexually transmitted diseases, including AIDS. Her father and several of his former partners died of the disease.

In her Massachusetts testimony, Stefanowicz also delineated the legal and societal risks of adopting homosexual marriage and hate crimes laws. She warned US legislators that since the institution of such laws in Canada, essential political freedoms have been severely undermined or even curtailed. The homosexual lobby has used the courts and extra-judicial Human Rights Tribunals to silence opposition to their program of social change.

She said, β€œFreedom of speech and democracy are eroded by hate crime and same-sex marriage legislation, and by judicial activism. Human Rights Tribunals in Canada police speech, and penalize upstanding citizens for their expressed opposition to homosexuality.”

β€œMay what is happening in Canada serve as a warning to Massachusetts. Where can the children find safety if legislation is in place legitimizing homosexual marriage?” she asked.

The Protection of Marriage Amendment now awaits a vote by the Massachusetts legislature during the state Constitution Convention scheduled for May 10, 2006. If approved by 50 legislators this year and next year, the Protection of Marriage Amendment will appear on the November 2008 ballot for a statewide vote.

It's a matter of demographics. Studies have shown that infidelity and domestic abuse is far more predominant and rather common in long term homosexual relationships. Whereas in marital (heterosexual) relationships, such abuse is more the exception to the rule.

This is not to say that such abuse does not occur in some marital relationships. Just that it is rare, not what is par for the course in marital relationships.

It is more common and according to my acquaintances who have had domesticated homosexual relationships that have lasted 4 or more years, par for the course.

This supports studies that I have read on the matter.

A recent study in Spain, which is the only study done that has all the neccesary numbers to be considered a reliable study on the matter supports Ms. Stefanowicz stand on the matter.

Studies that support homosexual couples raising children are not done with appropriate numbers to be considered valid.

More information on the Spain study can be found at this website: http://www.lifesite.net/ldn/2005/may/05053106.html

I'm sorry but I was sexually abused by my straight father while we was married to my mother, so by Mrs. Stefanowicz rational I should fight to keep straight marriages from happening.
I'd like to point out that her father was not Married to any of the men that he has traips throught their home. Where as gay man who marry may in fact be monogamist and more prepared to raise a child properly. This of course doesn't mean ever gay married couple will be perfect, and as you can read my straight married parents were not perfect either. So the minority rules the majority in Mrs or MS. Stefanowicz. Therefore beacuse Joe blow down the street can't handle his drinking and beats his wife all acohol shall be bannd! Give your head a shake women stop being a victim and be a survivor!
