Enjoying Christ Our Lord
When the Lord Jesus comes to take his people home to be with him they will enjoy his presence without sin or flesh for eternity. But we enjoy and delight him even now while in this world, we enjoy his presence, his word, his forgiveness, his justification, his righteousness imputed to us. We greatly enjoy his intercession for us, and we especially enjoy the gospel of free and sovereign grace that gives him all the glory for the salvation he accomplished for all whom he died. What joy fills our hearts to know we are complete in him, that we are without spot or blemish in him, that our sins are gone that he put them all away by “the sacrifice of himself”, and that God remembers them no more. Yes we will enjoy him through out eternity...but our enjoyment of him starts here. - Pastor

"Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof." Ecc. 7:8
*Beginning - born in sin. *End - ushered into glory, spotless.
*Beginning - must bear my own sin. *End - Christ bears them all on His body on the tree.
*Beginning - Children of wrath *End - Child of grace
*Beginning - death because of iniquities *End. - Raised to newness of life because of His perfection.
*Beginning - found in my own way that seems right. *End - placed in His way which is always right. - Pastor Drew Dietz
God Is
The passage of time is of no consequence to HIM who is eternal. HE declares the end from the beginning and sees all things as though they are already done.γ Does not the Psalmist allude to this very fact when he says, “we spend our years as a tale that is told.” (Psa. 90:9) It is also confirmed by Peter who said “But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” (2 Pet. 3:8)
γγ HE is the “high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy.” (Isa 57:15) HE is “before all things, and by him all things consist.” (Col 1:17)γ How foolish is it for men to think that GOD must twiddle HIS thumbs and wait to see what men will do.γ HE knows what is in the heart of man because HE made man and directeth his steps. γ(Prov.16:1,9; 19:21; Jer. 10:23) γAll things in the earth shall praise HIM because HE is the ONE who has determined to get glory in the creation of a world to manifest the wonder of HIS grace in the redemption of sinners.γ For this purpose did JESUS CHRIST the RIGHTEOUS come into the world and has indeed accomplished in time, (i.e, that place where men dwell,) the complete and utter deliverance of HIS elect from all condemnation.γγ The very fact that it pleased HIM to come down to where we are and to make HIMSELF of no reputation, taking upon HIMSELF the likeness of sinful flesh, is a most mysterious and yet glorious occurrence.γ
GOD does nothing out of need because HE needs nothing, being perfect and complete in all of HIS resplendent and eternal glory.γ HE does “according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?” (Dan 4:35) γHIS predetermined purpose to save those which were chosen in CHRIST before the foundation of the world is manifest as JESUS CHRIST was born of a virgin who came to fulfill the prophecy told to Joseph, “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.” (Mat 1:21) - Mike McGinnis
The Joy of Thy Lord
Enter thou into the joy of
Thy Lord, thou faithful one.
He has prepared a place for you.
Tis in God's only Son.
The joy of the Lord is your strength.
In His presence is joy.
At His right hand they're made to stand.
All praise to Him employ.
With joy that was set before Him
Jesus endured the cross.
Author and Finisher of faith,
He died to save the lost,
With great joy they shall see His face,
Who sits upon His throne.
He made them His own righteousness.
O, Magnify God's Son.
O, Let the Lord be glorified.
He shall appear with joy.
He's the God of my salvation,
All enemies destroyed.
There's joy in heaven over one
Sinner that repenteth.
The bride and Groom are joined as one.
This joy He completeth.
My joy in Him is now complete
With pleasure evermore.
He turned my sorrow into joy.
He redeemed and restored.
His grace is joy unspeakable,
My Crown of Rejoicing.
Before His presence faultless now,
Tis all my Lord's doing.
