This verse is speaking of the usefulness of the wise and the uselessness of fools. The words of the righteous feed many. This is speaking of those who can speak wisdom and truth into everyday life. It speaks of those who can consider circumstances and shed light on the situation through biblical wisdom. We live in a world full of problems and heart aches. Many of these come through the fact that we focus on our circumstances and forget about God. It is nourishment for souls to be redirected to the fountain of life rather than trying to drink from wells that do not hold water. May we use our mouths to speak words of biblical truth and wisdom to a starving and dying world.
