The subject of our songs.
Of our exalted King.
It never once departs.
They all shall conquer too.
Perfect
, complete, without blemish, holy, blameless, spotless; these are just a few of the words the scriptures uses to describe Gods saints. We do not feel that we are any of these things in ourselves, but this is what God says about us. Do we believe what we see in ourselves or what God says about us? God describes us with these glorious words because of what our Lord Jesus Christ accomplished for us by his holy sinless life and his sacrificial death for us on the cross. God word describes us as what we are in Christ. Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift. - Pastor GOD’S SPIRITUAL GIFTS TO MEN ARE
MANIFESTED IN THEIR LIVES
We see many claiming to have received spiritual gifts from God but never manifesting them. Their lives are not changed by what they claim to have received. They are the same in attitude and conduct after their religious experience as they were before it – except for being more religious!
Such is not the case with all to whom God truly bestows His spiritual gifts.
-- He gives to them love; they become loving.
-- He gives to them mercy; they become merciful.
-- He gives to them grace; they become gracious.
-- He gives to them wisdom; they judge wisely.
-- He gives to them righteousness; they live righteously.
-- He gives to them holiness; they live holily.
-- He gives to them peace; they become peacemakers.
-- He gives to them light; they let it shine before men.
-- He gives to them life; they live according to God in the Spirit.
-- He gives to them liberty; they do not return to bondage.
-- He gives to them glory; they glorify God.
-- He gives to them His nature; they with it do not sin.
-- He gives to them His gospel; they believe and proclaim it.
-- He gives to them His Spirit; they bear the fruit of the Spirit.
-- He gives to them His Christ; they become ... Christians! SOME REMARKS ON IMPUTATION
We, by nature, are foolish; Christ is made unto us wisdom.
We are unrighteous; He is made unto us righteousness.
We are unholy; He is made unto us sanctification.
We are lost; He is made unto us redemption.
He is wisdom to foolish me -
He is righteousness to guilty me -
He is sanctification to unholy me -
He is redemption to ruined me.
Christ’s righteousness is God’s present to men...When it falls on an oppressed conscience it is an astonishing joy. He is all that is excellent, but I am all that is vile.
Let us seek to have well-grounded marks of saintship, but when the push comes, nothing but imputed righteousness will stand the day. It was there we began, and it is there we must end.”

Matthew 14:30) "When Peter saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me." Peter was "beginning to sink." The water is up to his knees, it is up to his waist, it is up to his neck, but it is not too late for him to cry, "Lord, save me!" And as soon as he said it, the hand of Jesus stretched out to catch him, and bring him to the ship. As long as you breathe, you can cry to God. As long as you are alive, pray. As long as the person is alive for whom you are praying, pray. Sinner, as long as you are alive you can still cry out to God to save you. You can still cry out for mercy. Go as the publican did, smiting upon your breast crying, "God be merciful to me a sinner." Peter was saved from drowning, just as a sinner will be saved from hell if he cries out to God for mercy.
