To Kill or to Cultivate Kids
In addition to the fact that the global fertility rate has been dropping for the past fourty years, many people today even fight for the right to kill their children! Millions place very low value on children. Yet in contrast, God places immense value on children. Scripture declares that parents who are careful to teach their children rather than avoiding them are showing that they value them. With this in mind, Paul taught that children are capable of more than is often expected of them today. The primary lesson a young child must learn is that they are under authority. They must obey. This sounds easier than it is. This is war; the war of a fallen soul who will not submit. As they learn this, there is hope. Failure grows desperation; just the type of person who needs Jesus.
