Fatherless Kids and Ugly Bride
You will impact your family, regardless of how you feel about it. Husbands and fathers have a daunting role. How many fathers abdicate or flee from this weightly responsibility. To love your wife is to learn to become a giver rather than a taker. Some men fall in love, many fall in lust. To love is to give. To lust is to take. God calls husbands to the painful type of love seen in Jesus in His life, death and resurrection. In contrast to our normal method, Jesus chose an ugly bride--dead, filthy, repulsive. Yet His giving influence makes her increadingly more beautiful. This is what Christian husbands are called to. Listen to the message
