It takes no more of God’s grace, or any more of Christ’s blood, to save a worldly lost sinner, and no less than that grace and Christ’s blood and righteousness to save a lost religious moral sinner. The one grace and blood and righteousness of the LORD Jesus saves one and all. We read of publicans and harlots entering into the kingdom of the Messiah, and being welcomed to all the privileges of that kingdom, Mt. 21:31. We also read of the testimony of the apostle Paul who was directed of the Spirit of God to write in 1 Timothy 1:13- “Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.”

The message is simple, true, and plain for those for whom Christ paid the debt: “The greatness of sin is no bar to God’s pardoning mercy in Christ.” ALL before their conversion are wicked and vile, and yet by the grace of God are declared to be saints by the one blood and righteousness of the LORD Jesus, and His merits ALONE.
