Num. 6:22-27
Blessed His own. This does not cease.
He, our Lord, now blesses them.
If you believe what you like in the gospel, and reject what you don't like, it is not the gospel you believe, but yourself.
“To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins”
(Acts 10:43) Before any one can have Christ, they must first have the scriptures. Without the Bible there can be no knowledge of Christ the Lord. It is only in God’s holy word that Christ is fully revealed, “
in the volume of the book it is written of Him”.
All the teaching is concerning Him, in fact it is called “the doctrine of Christ” (2 John 9).
All the prophecies are fulfilled in him, all the law is fulfilled by him, all the ceremonies find their fulfillment in him, and every sacrifice pointed to his one great sacrifice.
The offices of Prophet, Priest, and King are combined in him. It is no wonder then that the scriptures declare that “Christ is all in all” (Col.3: 11).
God Almighty is revealed in Christ Jesus the Lord, “For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily (Col. 2: 9). Our Lord said; “Neither knoweth any man the Father save the Son, and He to whomsoever the Son will reveal him” (Mt. 11: 27).
“All the promises in Him are yea and amen”. His name is the first mentioned in the New Testament (Mt. 1:1) and the last, (Rev.22: 21).
Men cannot trust an unknown or unrevealed Christ, and the only book in the world THE BIBLE, The Holy Scriptures can make him known! But sadly all most preachers and people see from the scriptures is ’God has a wonderful plan for your life,” and if you will follow his plan for you, all will be well with you and yours. All that God has for any sinner who is outside of hell is found in Christ His Son. “All spiritual blessings are given us in heavenly places in Christ” (Eph.1: 3). The average preacher and person is looking for ever thing in the scriptures but Christ, they are looking for Laws to keep, works to be done, conditions to be fulfilled. But thank God, “Ye are COMPLETE in HIM, and, we are ACCEPTED in the Beloved”.

Walking by Sight, not Faith
2 Cor. 5:7
I quoted this verse backwards to what it actually says, it says; “ We walk by faith, not by sight”.
Why I put this verse this way is because we sometimes walk by sight not faith. We are often overwhelmed by life, things pile one upon another, and we LOOK at these troubles instead of the God who sent them.
When we walk by sight all we see is vanity, and vexation. We get depressed, discouraged and despondent, anxious and often angry.
What do we do when we are in this state? I tell you what we do, we begin to call on our Lord Jesus, and God our Father for forgiveness for being this way, call on him for strength, grace, for mercy. We plead for guidance and wisdom to live to his glory, and
To quit looking at our circumstances and LOOK to the God of our circumstances.
Lord enable us to “walk by faith, not sight”.
I need thee oh I need thee
Every hour I need thee
Oh bless me now my savior
I come to thee

FAITH OR WORKS
I am not in the least doubt, whether salvation be of faith or of works; whether faith be of our own power or of God’s operation; whether Christ’s obedience, or our own, be the just ground of our hope; whether a man can truly call Jesus Lord, but by the teaching of the Holy Ghost. I have no more hesitation about these points, than I should have were I asked whether it was God or man who created the heavens and the earth. –John Newton
