Genesis 49: 10 Shiloh also means sent. In John, chapter 9, the Lord anointed the eyes of a man and told him to go wash in the pool of Siloam. Siloam means Waters of Shiloh.
Shiloh also means son. The Shiloh of whom Jacob speaks has a duel son-ship: He is the Son of God and the Son of Man.
Shiloh signifies peace. Apart from Christ there can be no peace. He is our peace who has reconciled us to God by his own blood and righteousness.
Shiloh means the one to whom it belongs. The scepter shall not depart from Judah until Shiloh come. The scepter is for him to whom it belongs. He is the Son of God and heir of all things. “He is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: Who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in Him should all fulness dwell.” (Colossians 1: 17-19
