I know.... I just sent out a letter yesterday with prayer requests concerning our ministry, but now I am asking you to pray for Becky.

Many of you know tht Becky has been sick for quite a long time. Her health has been remarkably better. However, two things can set her health back more than anything else; stress and a lack of rest. Well, it seems both of those are on the agenda for today. :)

Today is National Women's Rights Day, and so Becky planned a tea party for the women in our church. We asked the women to invite their friends to make it an evangelistic opportunity. As phone calls came in yesterday, it became apparent that the ladies in the church exceeded our expectations. Becky had hoped for 40-50 to attend today, but it looks like it will be more like 65-80. Becky had just about everything done yesterday, but now we don't have enough of anything including tables. Last night we devised a plan on who would do what and so forth. It was still all coming together.

We went to bed, and two hours later received a phone call that the husband of one of our dear ladies passed away. Her and her daughter helped Becky nearly all day yesterday and were planning to come help again today. The family situation is very difficult. Already last night, other family had completly taken over the funeral. This dear lady and her children will have absolutely no say about the funeral. (Long story that involves the understanding of this culture) Becky finally got back to sleep about 5:30 AM.

Becky is, of course, concerned about this family.
She did not get a full night's rest.
I will be gone a good part of the day.
Some of Becky's best help will be gone to help console this family.
Becky likes everything to be just right.
Becky is concerned about her presentation of the Gospel in Khmer at the party, because about 40 unsaved
ladies have committed t be here.

Please pray for Becky's health. Pray that she will trust God to do what she can't. Pray that the devil would not hinder the Gospel from being given to these ladies. Pray for this dear family who lost their husband and father. Pray that they will stand strong for the Lord. Pray that they will be comforted through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

It is now 7AM our time. It is 7PM EST. Would all of you in America pray for Becky and this family before you go to bed tonight? Please?
