Our church building is starting to look really good. The dry wall is all up; the nursery, classrooms, and auditorium are all painted and some doors are up and some trim work done. We are getting new front doors of the building put on tomorrow. Our next step is put in the auditorium doors. We still need to put in the platform, a nice backing to the platform, and get the baptistery area ready for the baptistery we plan to install at the end of the month. We hope to have it all done by our church's Dedication Sunday in November. Our most expensive project will be to replace the large front window with an exterior wall and four arching windows and put up a nice porch area with columns on the outside to make it look more like a church (about $10,000). The other expensive project is the kitchen. That will probably be our church's Christmas offering project. We also want to replace the silver metal windows with some nice looking wooden windows.

Although we have been busy with the church, we still have had success in our soulwinning efforts. Knocking doors in two new neighborhoods: one on Tuesday night and another on Saturday morning, we have seen a lady named Guadalupe get saved and come out twice to church. A lady named Norma from the same neighborhood had been witnessed to; came out to church on Sunday; and, although the message was on stewardship, she responded to the invitation to accept Christ and was saved. In the other neighborhood, I have been able to see two new couples come out to church. Toby's wife Flor brought out two of her friends, Ariana and her mother Areceli. Last Saturday, we went to visit them and after discussing their marital problems, we were able to see them both saved.

Sunday night was our Stewardship banquet. We had a good crowd and we were able to raise the monthly giving by over 30%. Please pray for our Fall Campaign that begins Oct. 24 and ends on November 14, our 6th anniversary and Dedication Day of the building. I am getting printed this week 18,000 full-color brochures for our church. We are also doing a nice flyer in Mexico for our dedication day and we are organizing the church to put 20,000 of them in 20,000 homes between Nov. 1 - 13. Please pray that souls may be saved and families added to the church.
