A Grand Exhibition of Faith
The faith of God’s elect is not a work done for us but rather a work done in us. Redemption and justification are works of God done for us. Faith is accomplished in us and with us and by us in the sense that we believe, we walk, we rest, and we persevere unto death. But it is not a work done by us alone. “By grace are ye saved through faith and that not of yourselves it is the gift of God, not of works lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2: 8-9)”
