We returned to Mexico City last Wednesday from our first installment on our furlough. It was a great blessing to see several churches that have supported us all these years. We had a good first Sunday since our return: a good summertime attendance of over 70, a very good offering, and many decisions Sunday morning. Being gone for a while gives a good objective perspective of the ministry and a refreshed energy to plunge back into the ministry with vigor. I'm looking for forward to seeing many of you in this school year. Please pray for a smooth transition between Sam, the missionary taking our place, and I. The people said he did a great job while I was gone.
