I can't believe how fast the weeks and months are flying by. It's already the end of January, and February is sure to be gone as quickly as it came. It feels like just yesterday Carol and I arrived here in Ulaanbaatar. It's hard to believe we have been here almost four months already.
Our Christmas and New Year were an exciting and busy time for both us and the church. There were a good number of visitors who came to our Christmas banquet, including some family members of a young girl from the church. Pray that the word of God would convict the hearts of these people and that they would see their need to turn to Christ.
I believe God is doing a work not only in our lives but also in the lives of many people in the church. Some of the members have been facing hard decisions and making good choices. Please don't neglect to pray for the Christians here in Mongolia. Like everywhere, the believers here are facing a culture that hates the God of the Bible. Pray that God would give them strength to fight sin and resist the temptations from the world.
