Due to travel or being on the field, many times missionaries are not able to be with family for the holidays. This year God allowed us to be with a different part of our extended family for each holiday for which we are grateful. I am also grateful that we have family and friends who truly love the Lord that we can spend these times with. We do ask that you pray for those in our family who are not saved. This time of year was a great time to share the Savior with them. Our family is our mission field as well.
Important Trip to Korea
Please pray as I will be going to Korea for a short trip from the 9th to the 21st of January. Over the past few months God has allowed a few opportunities to present themselves that I will be looking into. Our decision on this will govern when we will return to Korea. I am praying that God will make clear His will which will require a good measure of discernment. This trip is very important as we are looking at possibly making a lifelong decision. Again I ask that you pray with us as we seek His perfect will.
Recent Travels
God has truly blessed our travels recently. We have been in 14 different states with countless miles of safe driving. We are grateful for the drop in fuel prices as I'm sure all people are. The Lord allowed us to be in several very good missions conferences as well as many other single meetings. We have been truly encouraged with the direction and vision that these churches have had for reaching the world with the Gospel. Of these meetings several have promised to support our efforts in reaching the Korean people for which we are grateful.
Brief Overview
Last year began with our official beginning of deputation. We have traveled through 21 states and Canada, put on more than 45k miles and have been in countless churches, missions conferences, families homes, hotels, and other special meetings. It has been truly an excellent experience sharing the people of Korea with God's people all across this land. We have been blessed tremendously in these meetings with some wonderful friendships, several souls saved, and several decisions to more closely walk with the Lord. Our prayer request for this year is that we would see more people surrender to serve God full-time. If there is anything lacking this past year, I would say that it is people surrendering to serve our Savior in foreign lands. Please pray for laborers; please pray that this new year might be the year that God calls you!!
