I trust you all had a good and safe new year. The Mongolians love new year and at midnight on the dot we were sure to hear how much they love it! I have never seen so many fire works going off at once in my life.
Today we had a normal but good day at church. It was exciting to have a first time visitor in the morning service. A Mother of a few of the kids who come to Sunday school regularly. We also had a few visitors who come a lot but who haven't accepted Christ as their Savior yet. A young man who used to work in the restaurant beneath the church and his girlfriend came. A brother of one of the church members came this morning as well.
Our evening service is always a wonderful time of fellowship with our church, and is my favorite service. Today was no exception.
The days are getting shorter and colder very quickly now, and Carol and I already cant wait for warm weather. The roads are pretty much pure ice, and I am told it will stay that way until summer! This, and the price of fuel, has motivated me to take the city bus regularly. It only cost about 30 cents one way, and is fairly safe. Especially when you are with Carol, who beats up on pick pockets.
